PIPe relining SOLUTIONS
Pipe relining, is a method used to repair damaged or deteriorated sewer and stormwater pipes without the need for extensive excavation.
It is a trenchless technology that provides a cost-effective and efficient solution for rehabilitating pipes. The pipe relining process involves inserting a flexible lining material into the existing pipe. This lining material is made of a resin-saturated felt. The liner is impregnated with a resin that is then cured in place to form a strong and durable new pipe within the existing damaged pipe.
How Pipe Relining Works
The process begins with a thorough inspection of the pipes using advanced technology such as CCTV cameras to identify the exact location and extent of the damage. Once the problem areas are identified, the pipe will be cleaned using high-pressure water jetting to remove any blockages or debris.
Next, a specially formulated epoxy/silicate resin liner is inserted into the pipe. Once in place, the liner is left to cure, creating a strong and durable new pipe within the old one.
Pipe relining offers numerous benefits over traditional pipe repair methods. Firstly, it eliminates the need for extensive excavation, minimising disruption to the surrounding area, such as landscapes, driveways, or buildings. This makes it an ideal solution for both residential and commercial properties.
Furthermore, pipe relining is a long-lasting solution, with the new pipe expected to have a lifespan of 50 years or more. It is highly resistant to corrosion, root intrusion, and leaks, providing a reliable and efficient plumbing system.
